Lasts for aprox. 350-400 exposures without flash (mixed use between viewfinder and live view). Charges in about 4 hours I think. The thing I liked the most is the apparently accurate reading of the battery charge level, which is very uniform, without surprises or flunctuations. Recommended. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful: Works as advertised, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sony NPFW50 Rechargeable Battery Pack (Black) (Retail Packaging) (Electronics) These proprietary battery packs drive me nuts, expensive, single source, not interchangeable with other devices. But I have a Sony Alpha SLTA33L DSLR with Translucent Mirror Technology and 3D Sweep Panorama (Black) and it uses this battery, and the Sony a33 is a power hungry camera, so I bought this battery as a second for long days out shooting photos. Works, seems to be accurately metered by the camera on the amount of power left. Charges in about 4hrs after the first time. Recommended if you own the camera that needs this battery. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: It's a Battery, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sony NPFW50 Rechargeable Battery Pack (Black) (Retail Packaging) (Electronics) It's a Battery. It works and seems to work better than the off market brands. The Sony A55 is a big battery hog and drains the original battery after about 250shots. The spare works about the same. The generic that I have was only good for about 100 or so shots even though the specs were the same. In the case of the Sony A55 I think that I would stick with OEM battery on this camera. |
